Detailed description:
Heat shield made of type 'E' glass fibers (9 µm fibers) with an aluminum sheet on one side, and an adhesive side with high tack and thermal resistance on the other side (HT refers to the quality of the adhesive)

The adhesive of the self-adhesive side can withstand temperatures above + 180ºC, while the glass fiber side can withstand + 500ºC constant and short periods of + 550ºC.

16 N / 25 mm

Adhesive strength on plastics PC / PVC / PMMA / PET / PP:
12/16/15/11 N / 20 mm

Good mechanical resistance and very good adaptability.

Good resistance to:
UV radiation, acids (except phosphoric acid and hydrofluoric acid)

Application:
extremely suitable in situations where thermal insulation and / or thermal protection of objects against radiant heat is required. (HT) indicates the superior quality of the adhesive, making this type of heat shield particularly suitable for the automotive industry.
